Life is too short to stay angry and frowning all the time. Laugh a little, your checks will benefit greatly from this action. Stress is one of the leading causes of sadness and apathy among many people. If allowed to thrive in the human mind, it often builds up to dangerous levels leading to a depressed life. One great way to relieve stress is through laughter. And the best thing is that it is free. When one is sick, the best gift a person can offer them is the gift of laughter. It brightens the mood and prevents early onset of wrinkles. So whenever you are feeling depressed and low, always remember that a simple laugh can lighten your heart and allow you to live a full, happy life.
It has also been realized that a laugh can reduce blood pressure thereby preventing instances of hypertension and stroke. This should however be combined with an exercise regimen. While it is good to laugh away at all the problems in life, it is also fundamental to exercise. Exercise allows one to lead a healthy life. It improves blood circulation thereby ensuring a healthy heart. Exercise is also known to release beneficial hormones in the body which reduce the stress hormones.
Exercise does not have to be mundane and boring. It should be varied and made interesting and lively as part of everyday living. When one is exercising, one should also occasionally laugh to completely enjoy the process. Exercise is a great way of toning the body muscles. This gives them a great admirable shape that is bound to not only make you happy but also get heads turning your way. Exercise is a great way to lose weight as well. With a regulated weight, one can go about their daily activities with ease and confidence. With confidence comes improved quality of life. It is also important to understand that exercise does not need to involve vigorous activities. It can be simple as walking, jogging or skipping rope. The key here is to ensure that you are happy and having fun with whatever form of exercise you choose to undertake.
Diet also plays a fundamental role in the health of an individual. A healthy diet consists of foods from a variety of food groups. Ensure you maintain a healthy diet that comprises largely of fruits and vegetable alongside proteins, carbohydrates and fat. Junk food including carbonated drinks should be consumed moderately because they lead to digestive problems culminating in obesity and other health problems. Drink plenty of water during the day to prevent dehydration. The type of food one consumes greatly affects their mood. There are foods that greatly improve one’s mood. Chocolate has been known to improve one’s mood making it lighter and jovial. However, chocolate in the diet should be maintained at a minimum to reduce the number of calories delivered to the body.
By ensuring you laugh, exercise and diet properly every day, you can be sure to lead a happy, healthy life.
